I fell in love with Weddings
pun intended!
I’ve been photo-driven since I was little, flipping through magazines & photo books just to look at the pictures (rarely reading the text, guilty). In college it clicked that I could actually MAKE PHOTOGRAPHY MY JOB, so I started second shooting, said yes to word of mouth, photographed a wedding, and fell completely in love with it. I’ve kept at it ever since, learning when to guide & when to be quiet.
What matters to me isn’t a perfect pose, it’s how you feel with me there. Safe enough to laugh REALLY hard, to breathe, to be yourselves, to forget the camera is here and just be with your person. I’ll handle the light & the timing & all the tiny details you shouldn’t have to think about. You get to live your day. You get to feel the feelings you were hoping could be locked in time forever.
I know, wild.
For me, it’s really crazy to look back and realize how much I paid attention to pictures as a kid and then be doing this!
“We worked with Daniela for our engagement & wedding photos, and she captured our special moments beautifully. She was responsive, accommodating, and listened to every request. The wedding book she created was stunning — and we’ve had countless compliments on our photos. We’ll definitely be booking with her again.”

“Daniela took our family photos with our newborn & the gallery she delivered was perfect. She was so easy to work with, brought great energy to our session, and made us feel comfortable from start to finish. We’ve worked with other photographers but Daniela is our absolute favorite! We’ve already booked her again!”

I love taking photos with Daniela! She’s captured my summer and Mother’s Day memories so beautifully. Her style is everything, and she’s amazing with my wild toddlers (so patient & kind).

her kids were an absolute trip and I loved it all!
Because it shows me, gives me proof, of love over and over and over again
I do this because love deserves proof. Not the kind that asks you to pretend, the kind that lets you be yourselves and still looks beautiful. I know it probably sounds cheesy but I want the deep breaths before vows and the head-back laughter during the reception. I want the tears that surprise you when your dad hugs his, now, son-in-law and the joy that rolls in when your best friends pull you into the middle of the song. I want the quiet and the loud, the whole thing, because that is what real life feels like.
My favorite photos are where personality seeps past the knowledge of a camera and where love forgets to pretend it isn't burning bright. A big brother figuring out how to hold a bottle without spilling while he feeds her and studies his newborn sister like she is the moon. A veil lifting in the wind and no one rushing to pin it because it looks alive. Lipstick on a paper cup between hugs. An aunt brushing lint from a suit with quiet focus. Shoes abandoned under a chair because dancing wasn’t happening in heels!
It's the
little things
My job is to make it easy to be yourselves. Kindness first so safety can follow, safety first so joy can run free. When you forget the camera is here, the photographs become what they were meant to be:
There’s more, too, though. Without a doubt, I don’t think I could be the kind of person I am or create the kind of art I do without giving credit to Jesus. I am who I am because of him.
If you’re ready for photographs that ARE you, I’ll take care of the light, timing, and tiny details while you live it. Weddings are my heartbeat, and I also love couples, families, maternity, newborns & portraits. Let’s plan something that keeps your story safe.
